L-9SPAC/DL Vintage Antique Lock Reproduction Arts & Crafts Style 2 1/2" Backset for Two Thumblatches
This lovely Arts & Crafts style lock set has hammered copper face plate and catchplate, hammered-by-hand and antique patina to match our Arts & Crafts hardware. The finish is dark, as shown. There are three versions of this lock to work with our Arts & Crafts style hardware.
First there is the L-9SPAC. This lock is used on an entry door, since it has a cylinder lock, when doorknobs are used on both sides of the door.
The second type of entry lock is the L-9SPAC/SL, which is used when one side of the door uses a thumb latch plate and the other side uses a door knob.
The third type of lentry ock is the L-9SPAC/DL, which is used when thumb latches are on both sides of the door. Choice of lock function can be chosen from the dropdown menu.
If you have a door thicker than 2", you may need a longer cylinder lock. See our chart for cylinder lock sizes available for thicker doors.
Measurements: Lock body measures 5 1/2" tall by 3 5/8" deep, and is 13/16" thick. Lock face is 1" wide by 7 1/2" long. Center of the lock cylinder to the center of the door knob spindle hole is 3 3/4". Backset is 2 1/2", including the thickness of the face plate. Distance from the center of the bolt throw hole to the center of the door knob spindle hole is 2 1/2". Catch plate is 4 7/8"long by 1 7/8".
