This is our modified antique reproduction mailbox which has been deepened to 4". This mailbox has a window so you can see mail, and protruding hasps through the lid for a padlock. Comes with newspaper rack, for you to attach or not.
Box-only part measures 11 1/2" tall by 5 1/2" wide. This extra deep box is 4" deep inside. Overall measurement with the newspaper rack is 14 3/4" by 6 3/4"wide. For a smaller mailbox, see M-47MB .
It is solid cast brass, left unlacquered so it ages to a lovely gold
patina. If you want instant patina, choose our hand-darkened "antique"
finish. Now also available in oil rubbed bronze finish!
