This is a beautiful, solid brass, figural reproduction chandelier. All castings are lost wax cast and beautifully done. Features graceful angel figures on each arm.
This fantastic quality chandelier is attributed to John W. Call, whose catalog of circa 1890 illustrates an early identical design. Perhaps it is Hera or Juno, wife of Zeus/Jupiter, as Victorians loved mythological themes. Rooms were identified as either masculine or feminine, and we have the matching masculine chandelier, 726-ZHG-AC.
This fixture is shown in the polished, unlacquered brass as it was originally manufactured. Our experienced technicians can hand-finish the brass to an antique brass, oil rubbed bronze, or pewter finish if one of these better suits your decor.
