Instead of chopping off the bottom of nice Victorian doors so that they will clear the carpet, these solid brass lift hinges can be installed, which would stop those unsightly gaps from occurring under the doors.

At 90 degrees, the hinge has lifted the door by 1/4", and at 180 degrees, the hinge has lifted the door by 1/2".

Each leaf is a full 1/8" thick.

This is a pair of right-hand hinges, which measure 3 1/2" x 3 1/2".
