ANT-1344  Pleasing Pair of 1920’s to 30’s Sconces with Cut Ruby Shades

The backplates are cast metal with a lovely, pewter patina and some interesting simple motifs which could be applied to Art Deco...or…Arts & Crafts…or…even Edwardian decor. A rather flexible design.

The shades are a bit taller than normal making it nice for bulb selection. A tubular bulb can give a nice elongated light source but we installed a simple elegant chandelier bulb to give a subdued nuisance. Standard medium based high end porcelain sockets are installed.

Measurements: 11" tall by 4 3/4" wide (at the backplate) and the sconce projects from the wall 8".

Completely rewired to UL standards in our UL shop with new medium base sockets.
