ANT-1350  Art Deco Slip Shade Low Ceiling Chandelier by Mid West Mnf.

It’s nice to be able to offer another really fine light to you.  Here we have one of the scarcer lights of the deco era from Mid West MFG. ca.1935.

Not only is it scarce because of the series it belongs to, but scarcer again since it is an un-common style being a close ceiling chandelier with the large ceiling plate which was seldom made and…now…darn hard to find.

This is a three-light (shade) close ceiling chandelier. Mid West made the best quality Art Deco lighting. And while this close ceiling chandelier is white metal, it is finished in a fine Red Bronze finish. Quite striking.

The castings are beautiful, with lots of detailed parts. As true design beauty, look at the flower designs cast into the frame...and then see this neat design repeated on the great amber slip shades. Now that is full and cohesive design expertise—very nice from a premier company.

This light has been totally re-wired in our UL register shop with three new chandelier-based sockets. The drop of this light now is only a mere 10 1/2 inches and it has a diameter of about 11 1/2 inches. The three shades are in excellent condition and they all match each other very well. The receivers and shades do vary a little so some switching around does find the best shade for each spot. Hand made.

A full mounting kit will be supplied...so nothing more to buy...except chandelier based light bulbs.
