ANT-427 Art Deco Double Arm Candle Sconces
Lovely pair of double Circa 1920 wall sconces.
These sconces have a nice Edwardian ambiance having a pewter look with a heavy cast and embellished backplate design that is so typical of the Edwardian regency design style.
Nice design elements include two tower castles in the center of the backplate with the top being a
heraldic shield and crown. Lovely design and contrast.
The white candletube and bobachee are both white opal glass...not paper or composition. Really outstanding quality.
The metal, of the backplates, is cast iron with a lovely pewter finish. Ready to go...nothing needs to be done except add the light bulbs of your choice. These sconces have been completely re-wired with true bakelite sockets and all new wire.
Re-wired in our UL light shop with new sockets and turn switch to the center between the arms.
Come complete with all the mounting hardware.
Measurements: Each overall sconce height is ”11, The maximum width is 10 1/2” (outside edge of the shade to shade). It will project into the room, from the wall a mere 4.5”.
