Antique Pair Wall Sconces Art Deco Slip Shade Lights by Moe Bridges (ANT-782)

ANT-782  Pair of Moe Bridges Art Deco Slip Shade Sconces

Circa 1935 Art Deco sconces made by Moe Bridges, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  Good famous Art Deco maker, who always made quality with good references available.  These came from the series Moe Bridges called the Biltmore Series.  It was stock number 310-5-1 in 1935.  The series was always made in cast iron, and these sconces are cast iron with a pewter finish.

The shades are in good condition, with only the slightest roughness, which is hardly noticeable and very typical for this age.

Measurements:

  • Height:  12"
  • Width:  6 ½"
  • Projection:  4 ½" from the wall into the room.

Note also that we are supplying the brackets (crossbars) for these lights so literally, you can hang this light and have it working minutes after receiving it.

These sconces have been rewired in our UL shop, and they maintain the ambiance of the original 1930s light.  We even renewed the rotary switch with an identical model used by Moe Bridges.

Outstanding and documented pair of Moe Bridges sconces with good glass shades and UL re-wiring:  $850.00
