American Pair of Art Deco Streamline Design Sconces (ANT-947)

ANT-947  American Pair of Art Deco Streamline Design Sconces

Circa 1930s, these sconces are finished: pewter color oval backplate while the fitter is brass and  finished with antique brass highlights. They have an interesting opal shade with a clear waffle glass panel for that extra bit of light. An interesting thing about that waffle panel is that the shade does spin in it’s fitter so the waffle panel can be turned sideways to focus more light on a face if the sconces were put to each side of a mirror. For that matter, the waffle can also be turned 180º to face the wall if it ever got to be annoying for some reason.

These sconces have been totally re-wired in our UL shop. Normal bakelite sockets for everyday medium base bulbs. The backplate has a rotary switch for on and off. The sconce mounts with one normal sconce mounting all-thread to a normal electrical box from within the case. All mounting hardware will be supplied.

Pair of American made late 30s sconces.

Measurements:  7 1/2” tall. Maximum width of  3 3/4”. Projects into a room from the wall a 4 3/4”

Price:  For the complete, UL re-wired pair of sconces, $ 350.00  plus careful shipping.
