599-QCX-GE  Mission Revival décor is HOT!  This is a popular fixture for its clean lines and large amount of light output.  These part numbers are for butterscotch, green or white (as shown) art glass bottom shades.  Use the options menu above to select your art glass color.

Combination gas and electric fixtures, known as transitional lights, were made at the turn of the century, and for as long as 20+ years thereafter.  Electrical supplies were not always reliable in every location of America at this time.  There were two main types of "up" gas fixture.  One was a simple candle tube, and the other was a wide flame burner surrounded by a 4" glass shade, as appears here.

Priced with metal "down" shades included, although top shades are sold separately. We show mission style frosted glass 082G , and have a variety of 4" fitter shades that would work well.

  • Height:  Supplied 44" tall, but can be shortened to as little as 29" by trimming the tube.
  • Spread:  25"
  • Canopy Size:  4 ½" x 4 ½"; 3" deep.

Extension kits for longer drops and vaulted ceiling kits are available.

  • Wired with common household medium base (E26) sockets, rated for up to 100 watts each.
  • "Down" Art Glass Shades:  Please note a maximum of 60 watts each is recommended if using incandescent light bulbs.
  • Total 640 watts of light, which should light any average size living room.

Pan lights were also popular at the turn of the century, such as 526-LPN-C1.  419-SPN-C1 is a double chain-hung light for wonderful task lighting such as over a kitchen counter.
