976-HRR-DK Antique Brass Finish Neo Grecian 6 Arm Chandelier
Neo-Grecian or Greek Revival style was popular in the last half of the 19th century. Classical images with clean lines & stylized shapes were the forerunner to Art Deco's modern lines. These circa 1875 lights have been faithfully reproduced using the Lost Wax Casting process, just like fine jewelry, to bring out the details.
Shown in polished brass, we also offer custom hand-finishing to an antique brass finish. Antique patinas are lacquered to maintain their tone.
Fixture uses 4" fitter glass shades. Shades are sold separately. This light is shown with our 0175G shade, the only properly fitted crown shade being made today. Hand blown and etched, it is 5" high and approx. 8 1/2" at its widest. We have a big variety of 4" glass shades that fit this fixture.
As a supporter of all the Victorian decorative styles, we offer matching fixtures, including an aesthetic double sconce, and an aesthetic chandelier, for smaller spaces. A lovely circa 1900 porch sconce, works well with Greek Revival.
As these lights come, they are 62" tall but they can be shortened anywhere you like between 62" and 32".
Spread with shades: 32 1/2".
