ZLW-189DP Roaring Lion PF Corbin Pavia Pattern Door Push Plate 18" Tall
This is a recast from of the "Pavia" pattern roaring lion doorknob backplate by P.F. Corbin, which can be seen in their Circa 1900 catalog. This impressive pushplate has a design of double full-figured cherubs flanking a lion's head. The design is very classical Roman.
Cast in solid brass, using the lost wax casting method like fine jewelry, it is antiqued & lacquered to protect the patina.
This plate can also be used as a blank for custom lock and handle applications.
Pushplates are sold in singles.
Our matching pieces include an entry door plate with cylinder lock receiver, the inside plate with turnlatch to operate the bolt; interior door plate with skeleton keyhole, and doorknob only door plate.
