ZLW-189DP Roaring Lion PF Corbin Pavia Pattern Push Plate 18" Tall
This is a recast from of the "Pavia" pattern roaring lion doorknob backplate by P.F. Corbin, which can be seen in their Circa 1900 catalog.
This impressive pushplate has a design of double full figured cherubs flanking a lion's head.
The design is very classical Roman. Cast in solid brass using the lost wax casting method like fine jewelry, our finish is in antique brass & lacquered to protect the patina.
Measures 4" wide by 18" tall. Very heavyweight brass.
Pushplates are sold in singles. Can also be used as a blank for custom lock and handle applications. Our matching pieces include an entry door plate with cylinder lock receiver, the inside plate with turnlatch to operate the bolt; interior door plate with skeleton keyhole, and doorknob doorknob only door plate.
