Domestic and International Shipping & Returns Policy
We provide Domestic and International Shipping. All orders usually ship within 2-3 business days. Standard domestic shipping method in most cases is UPS Ground or Federal Express Ground. Overnight, 2 day, or 3 day shipping options are available. Call our office at 360-379-9030 for a quote.
UPS Ground Shipping Charges:

$9.50 on orders up to $99.99
- 10% of the order $100 or more on small or light weight orders.
- Our shopping cart uses a default freight amount.
We invoice for actual freight on heavy or large items.
There is a $9.00 extra charge for C.O.D. orders. C.O.D. orders must be phoned in to our office at 360-379-9030.
Special Shipping:
Heavier hardware, lighting fixtures, plaster medallions, bulky items, long boxes, and glass shades can be shipped through UPS, FedEx, or a trucking company but may incur extra charges due to oversize packaging, dimension weight calculation, wooden crate or pallet shipment. If your order requires special shipping, please call us at 360-379-9030.
International and Outside Continental U.S. Orders:
We gladly ship products to our International customers. Payment is verified prior to shipment. International shipping, and rates to Alaska, Hawaii, and the US territories are quoted on an individual basis. International orders will be shipped via United States Postal Service. International orders can also be shipped with your UPS or Fedex account number. Call for special arrangements.
We complete the necessary paperwork to export our products. You are responsible for any additional paperwork required and any duty or customs fees.
Washington State Residents:
WA state sales tax will be added to your order based on the DESTINATION zip code tax rate. Purchases made at our Port Townsend location have an 9% tax rate.
Resale permits must be in our
possession fully filled out for the abrogation of sales tax. If you buy
for resale and are charged tax, you can reclaim the tax on your sales
tax report.
Return Policy
Refunds are given if the merchandise is returned with a copy of the invoice, within 30 days of our ship date, in the original packaging, and has not been mounted or used. We refund the returned item, minus the shipping charges. Please package the item carefully, as we cannot credit product that becomes damaged during return to us. We recommend an insured carrier. Your return must be shipped prepaid in order for us to receive it. No returns or claims will be accepted after 30 days.
Special order merchandise, such as items with custom finishes, cut-to-length items, or special project items are non-returnable. If your order requires special or custom work, please call us at 360-379-9030. Vintage Hardware reserves the right to change or modify its return policy at any time.
