105-MJX-PL  The Chain and Diamond (or "J") Design shades on these lamps originated between 1900-1910, with Sechrist of Colorado.  This effective little lamp has a switch on the base, and a polarized plug.  Choose from three shades of art glass by using the drop down menu.  This is the kind of fine glass used for making stained glass windows.

Although our socket is UL approved for well over 100 watts, we recommend no higher than 75 watts if you're using an incandescent bulb, due to the heat against the art glass.  If using CF or LED bulbs, their cooler operation will allow a higher wattage.

We have many fixtures in the diamond shade design, from large hanging pendants to chandeliers and sconces.  Use them throughout the house to make a vintage home look like it has original fixtures.  Early light bulbs were not high wattage bright, so our forefathers used a combination of lamps, sconces and overhead light for enough illumination.
