Victorian Roaring Lion Low Doorknob Receiver Backplate - 18

ZLW-189LK  Antique Reproduction Low Knob Door Plate in the Pavia Pattern

VERY impressive!  This is a reproduction of the "Pavia" pattern roaring lion doorknob backplate by P.F. Corbin, which can be seen in their Circa 1900 catalog.  This impressive backplate has a design of double full-figured cherubs flanking a lion's head.  The design is very classical Roman.

The lower position of the doorknob receiver means this plate can be combined with our matching entry door plate, and turnlatch door plate to create a custom double door entry set or locking privacy interior door set.  With our wide variety of lever handles and doorknobs, create a door set to suit your tastes and sensibilities!

Finish is "antiqued" brass, and lacquered to preserve the tone.

Measurements:

  • Height:  18"
  • Width:  4"

The matching roaring lion doorknobs are pictured here also.

This door plate can work with our 2 38" backset door latch for an interior passage function.

Backplates are sold by "each".
