Pineapple Pattern Blown Glass Gas Shade 4

075G Antique Reproduction Pineapple Pattern Glass Gas Shade 4" Fitter

Photos don't do this delicate design justice.  Blown into a mold, then hand frosted (etched) with the classic pineapple motif.  Pineapples have meant "welcome" for many generations.

This is a popular design from mid-Victorian (circa 1850) through Edwardian (up to 1920) period. It was used with the wide flame burner gaslight fixtures, and continued to be popular through the transitional period.

Measurements:

  • Height:  4 ¾"
  • Width:  7"
  • Fitter Size:  4"

If you have a transitional chandelier that featured both gaslight and electric light, use our matching electric glass shade.  These handcrafted shades give the proper ambiance to the fixture.
