ZLW-150 Decorative Brass Swivel Candle or Plant Holder Wall Sconce in Aesthetic Style
The Aesthetic Movement in Victorian times was an attempt to make everyday objects decorative, or "aesthetically pleasing", attractive to the senses. The Aesthetic Movement ended around 1895.
This holder has a shallow plate hold a plant, or for use as a candle votive. This piece has been lost wax cast, given the "antique" finish that resembles bronze, and lacquered.
Dish measures 5 1/2" in diameter. Protrudes 10 1/2" overall. Base measures 2 1/4" wide by 4 3/4" tall.
