We decided to cast one of the most classic designs ever to grace the market of 1935 - 1936.
Yes, a casting...not a tinny sheet metal product, but a chandelier of substance and class for a very special decorative effect.
Consider the concentric designs on the canopy and on the shade fitters. Note the finial with those same neat rings. Even matches the shades which are custard glass and have the very same concentric rings around their waist. Total design symmetry.
If you like Art Deco, and especially like Art Deco Streamline design, this fixture might well be for you. And if you have a normal 8 foot ceiling, just think about all of this design packed into a mere 12 ¾” of height. This is the total height from the ceiling to the bottom of the center finial. So very nice.
You have a choice of purchasing this chandelier either with or without the pictured shades. Our shades are 5 ¼” diameter at the fullest part, being the slip in type. We stock these shades if replacements are desired in the future. These will fit into a 1 ¾” diameter fitter, which was a common size in the '30’s. If you are considering using some antique shades, they should be able to pass a 1 ¼” diameter electrical socket through the center.

The five sockets can handle up to a 100 watt incandescent bulb each, or purchase our optional LED bulbs to maximize you energy savings. Makes running the close ceiling chandelier all night long, perhaps as a nite lite, very economical indeed and cool to the shades as well.
