Antique Edwardian Gothic-Style Close Ceiling Light (ANT-1364)

ANT-1364 Antique Edwardian Gothic-Style Close Ceiling Light

Neat close-ceiling, Edwardian, Gothic two-light fixture. Excellent for a lower ceiling where a cute light is desired.

It was produced just before the Art Deco era in a neat mock-gothic motif with original amber shades. It is highly unusual with an additional staggered amber glass center. First one we have seen like this but exceedingly attractive and eye catching because of this difference. No real purpose for the glass center other than to accent the two shades…just kind-of a neat touch.

The frame has a pewter finish. Circa 1920, this fixture was originally sold both as a close ceiling fixture and with a stem for a longer drop.

This fixture has been totally rewired to UL code, with new sockets and wire, and it is ready to grace a lovely home.

Each socket is fully capable of 100-watt incandescent bulb.

Measurements: 13 1/2" wide (shade tip to shade tip) by 9”, with a drop of only 7".

It fastens directly to a UL approved electrical box with two ball-finials that appear on either side of the center glass. All mounting items supplied.

Price: $475.00 for this interesting UL restored 2-shade close ceiling fixture complete with shades...plus the normal shipping charge.
