ZLW-189TL Antique Reproduction Pavia Door Plate
This is a reproduction from of the "Pavia" pattern roaring lion doorknob backplate by Corbin, which can be seen in their Circa 1900 catalog.The design is very classical Roman. Finish is in antique brass.
This impressive interior doorknob & turnlatch backplate has a design of double full figured cherubs flanking a lion's head. It is meant to be used as an interior door plate, with a doorknob on the bottom hole and a turnlatch on the top hole. The turnlatch is used to engage the lock.
On the exterior of the door, you would use the matching door plate, ZLW-189SP, which has a lock cylinder hole on the door plate to lock the door from the outside.
You can use our antique reproduction lock in the darkened finish for your cylinder lock.

Backplates are sold in singles.
Measures 4" wide by 18" tall. From the center of the turnlatch stem to the center of the doorknob receiver is 2 1/2".
