166-ES1-NP Frosted Glass Shade & Nickel Finish Frame Option French Marseilles Art Deco Slip Shade Sconce
166-ES2-NP Amber Glass Shade & Nickel Finish Frame Option French Marseilles Art Deco Slip Shade Sconce
Although we specialize in American antique lighting, we couldn't pass up this French Art Deco design slip shade sconce.
When our antique originals sold quickly, we decided to carry them as reproductions. We bought the originals from a restoration project in Seattle. They are in the style and quality of Noverdy and Vianne, who are now mostly out of business.
This is a nice large Art Deco sconce, which is seldom found.
Our reproduction art deco shade is heavy glassware, typical of fine quality early glass, but rarely seen today. Choice of a frosted shade, or amber glass shade (pictured). If you have one of these fine sconces and need just the replacement slip shade glass, we can provide that as well.
Height: 12 ½"
Width: 10" (measured at the widest point)
Projection: 5 ⅜" from the wall into the room.
Mounting: The mounting screw is located under the socket, and centered approximately 4 ½" from the bottom of the sconce.
Wattage: The socket can handle up to a 100 watt incandescent bulb, or purchase our optional LED Art Deco looking bulb 60-WW-E26, which uses only 7 watts of electricity and emits about 75 watts of incandescent equivalent light. Makes running the sconce all night long, perhaps as a nite lite, very economical indeed and cool to the shade as well.
The Marseilles series also has a matching French art deco chandelier. A tall ceiling chandelier version is also available. All items in this series are available in several finishes, and both glass options.
