166-ES2-DK Amber Glass Shade & Antique Brass Finish Frame Option for Recreated Art Deco Marseilles Sconce
166-ES1-DK Frosted Glass Shade & Antique Brass Finish Frame Option for Reproduction Art Deco Marseilles Sconce
Although we specialize in American antique lighting, we couldn't pass up the original French Art Deco design slip shade sconce.
When our antique originals sold quickly, we decided to carry them as reproductions. We bought the originals from a restoration project in Seattle. They are in the style and quality of Noverdy and Vianne, who are now mostly out of business.
This is a nice large Art Deco sconce which is seldom found. The basic fixture is solid heavy brass, with an aged patina.
Our reproduction art deco shade is heavy glassware, typical of fine quality early glass, but rarely seen today. Choose from a frosted shade, or amber glass shade (pictured). If you have one of these fine sconces and need just the replacement slip shade glass, we can provide that as well.
We have recreated the matching art deco close ceiling chandelier, which is also available as a tall ceiling chandelier for those whose projects involve higher ceilings. All Marseilles series lights are available in several finishes, and both glass shade options.
Height: 12 ½"
Width: 10" (measured at the widest point)
Projection: 5 ⅜" from the wall into the room.
Mounting: The mounting screw is located under the socket, and centered approximately 4 ½" from the bottom of the sconce.
Wattage: The socket can handle up to a 100 watt incandescent bulb, or purchase our optional LED Art Deco looking bulb 60-WW-E26, using only 7 watts and putting out about 75 watts of incandescent equivalent light. Makes running the sconce all night long, perhaps as a nite lite, very economical indeed and cool to the shade as well.
