ZE-500  Reproduction of Fine Victorian Double Keyhole Door Plate Circa 1887
Tall and narrow back plate by R&E, which is featured in Catalog VII, dated 1887.  Two keyholes guard your entry, one of them covered with a fierce feline.
Lost Wax cast in solid brass, just like fine jewelry.  For R&E hardware, we hand-apply an antiqued brass finish, then apply lacquer to preserve the color.
Use a combination of our L-6 passage latch and antique reproduction mortise deadbolt for a locking function.
We also have this plate with a 2 ¼" center-to-center measurement for use with many of our antique reproduction mortise locks.
Don't forget to select an R&E reproduction doorknob, such as the grape leaf motif knob ZE-38, or warrior knob ZE-23, for a classic entry.  We offer 11 doorknob choices in the R&E Series.
