This is an adapted reproduction of a newel post light from around 1890 by R. Williamson & Co. We say "adapted" because it's now fully wired for electricity.

This short newel post is perfect for tight spots.  Use these in a line across the balcony of a long stairway rail, to supplement wall sconces.

Available in polished unlacquered brass, which will develop a patina over time, or choose between Antique Brass Finish or our matte black Oil Rubbed Bronze Finish for a darker tone.  Use the menu above to select your favorite finish.

Measurements:

• Height:  14" high to the top of the fitter (without shade).
  • Add the height of whatever shade you choose for the full height.
• Base:  4 ¾" in diameter.
• Fitter Size:  4"
• Wattage:  One socket, rated up to 100 watts incandescent.

Glass shade is sold separately.  We picture our hand-crafted crown oak leaf shade, but have many
4" fitter size shades to choose from.
