ANT-1018  Antique Late Art Deco 5 Shade Chandelier c 1938-39

Nice five light Deco era chandelier with attachment amber and clear highlight shades.

Metal is nicely finished in a mixed antique brass and white metals which contrasts nicely with the amber and clear designed shades. There are the odd places that use does show which is consistent with age, but, overall...a rather nice chandelier.

Wonderful condition. The shades are in good condition. Co-existing at the same time as slip shade lighting, it was a fashion that had a more reliable and safer mounting shade than slip shades.

Measurements:  The overall hang height is  20”  The fixture has a spread: 17“.

This fixture can be lengthened by adding chain links.

The chandelier has been totally rewired, in our UL shop, with high grade sockets and new central lead wire. The chandelier is an antique..and as such....it does show a bit of minor roughness here and there commensurate with it’s age.  Still,  a nice looking antique fixture.

Capable of up to 100 watts per socket, for a total of 500 watts. The picture was taken only with 11 watt bulbs to not blow out the focus and allow the frame details to show thru.
