ANT-1314  Nearly, Perfectly Matched Pair of American Art Deco 5-Light Chandeliers by Puritan

These fixtures, circa 1930’s, were made by a little known company called Puritan, which had an interesting array of shade variations for this type of frame.

The most popular one, with the public, was this nice shade that has the lovely embossed floral spray. And, remarkably, all ten amber shades here are in very fine condition (a rare occurrence in the antique world of slip shade lighting).

The frame is made from cast iron and has a faux bronze finish, which is in very nice condition. We added an extra cinch ring for the canopy since after years of use the original cinch ring thread is tired and does not hold as it once did. The extra cinch ring can be seen in the pictures.

Each chandelier has been completely re-wired with 5 Bakelite sockets and ground wire to conform to UL guidelines. Each socket is capable of accepting a 100 watt bulb. They are totally ready to go and both will be supplied with all the necessary mounting hardware.

Measurements:  Approximately 22” tall by 18 1/2” wide.
