ANT-1455 Set of an Art Deco 5-Light Chandelier with Matching Sconces by Puritan
These fixtures, circa 1930’s, were made by a little known company called Puritan, which had an interesting array of shade variations for the type of frame.
The most popular one with the public was this nice shade that has the lovely embossed floral spray. And, remarkably, all seven amber shades here are in very fine condition (a rare occurrence in the antique world of slip shade lighting).
These frames are made from cast iron and have a pewter finish, which are in very nice condition.
Both the chandelier and sconces have been completely rewired with new sockets and ground wire to conform to UL guidelines. Each socket is capable of accepting a 100-watt bulb. They are totally ready to go and both will be supplied with add the necessary mounting hardware.
Measurements: The chandelier is approximately 22” tall by 18 1/2” wide, while the sconces are 9” high by 5 ¾” wide and have a projection of 5” from the wall into the room.
Price: Complete, UL rewired set of chandelier and pair of matching sconces $1,750.00, plus careful shipping.
