VERY impressive!  This is a reproduction from of the "Pavia" pattern roaring lion doorknob backplate by P.F. Corbin, which can be seen in their circa 1900 catalog.  This impressive backplate has a design of double full-figured cherubs flanking a lion's head.  The design is very classical Roman.

This is an interior non-locking passage set.

Hand-finished in your choice of Antique Brass Finish {Pictured} or our matte black Oil Rubbed Bronze Finish.

The Set Includes:

• Two "Knob Only" Door Plates
• Two Doorknobs with the Connecting Spindle
• One Tubular Passage Latch

Measurements:

• Door Plates:  4" wide by 18" tall.
• Doorknobs:  2 ⁷⁄₈" tall by 2" wide; each projects 2 ³⁄₈".
• Passage Latch:
  • Face Plate:  1" wide x 2 ¼" tall.
  • Backset:  2 ³⁄₈"
  • Catch Plate:  1" wide x 2 ¾" tall.
  • Latch can be installed by drilling a 7/8" hole, then recessing the wood for the latch face.

Mounting screws are included with all pieces of hardware in this set.

*  Modern Door Fit Up Kit:  This item changes the modern ugly round holes in doors so that antique hardware can be used.  This adapter plate will work with our L-6 tubular passage latch.  Door must be a minimum of 1 1/8" thick.  Plastic sleeve slides over the latch body, and is held in position by screwing metal halves together.
