ANT-1227  Edwardian Pair of LOVELY Double-Arm Sconces

Different style of sconces with definite Edwardian influences and some late Victorian touches. Interesting and classy transitional sconces...Circa 1910-30.

Cast solid brass with a antique hi/lo finish having nice contrasts. The overall design, with center “ribbon & wreath” motif, is a sign of the times. The fashion here does rather date the sconces. There is some variation between the sconces...but not enough to tell when separated within a room or flanking a fireplace.

These double sconces have outstanding original satin glass shades. The coloring is original..the design unique. Larger than most...nice contrasts...lovely design. There is some roughness on a couple shade fitters but not seen when installed.

Electrical: These sconces have been totally re-wired in our UL shop. Normal medium base sockets, for everyday bulbs, were installed.

All mounting hardware will be supplied.

Measurements: 10 1/2” tall with a width of 11” and project into the room 6”.
