ANT-298 Pair of Brass Andirons - Turn of the century
Often called “Dore” Bronze (or brass)...these most definitely do have the age. Origin is most likely French or in that area with borders changing the way they did at that time. Design elements and casting methods tell us that.
Fancy, yet, not overly done so will go with most decor fancy or more simple.
Measurements: Overall height (w/o candles) is 21 1/2”. Overall widest part at the base is 9 1/4” wide. The iron leg projects into the fireplace overall 20 1/2””.
