Shades are sold separately. This newel post light takes one gas shade with a 4" fitter, and one electric shade with a 2 ¼" fitter. The Polished Unlacquered Brass picture shows 053G and 054G as suggestions, but we offer many of our glass shades in both sizes, just for transitional lighting. If you love the fixture as it is pictured, we have included an option to purchase this light with the pictured shades in the menu above.
These lights were usually controlled by a wall switch. A rotary style On/Off switch can be custom installed on the base of this light for an extra $25.00. Please click the "Add Switch" option above to add this to your light.
We have several pierced brass lights to complement this design, including our transitional chandelier, and a charming double sconce. For rooms with standard lower ceilings, we have a close ceiling light. Coordinate your glass shades for an original "suite" effect.
