237-CH Inspired Replica of a 1933 "Streamline Deco" Chandelier or Hall Light
A similar chandelier was shown in the 1933 Lightolier catalog for Builders, Architects and Decorators. It came from the series that Lightolier called “Luxart”. Ours has been redesigned to conform to current UL standards and added one more shade to the body to increase the girth.
Lightolier made two versions of this chandelier. Strangely, both models only had one socket which allowed a lot of shadows. That is not enough for modern day lighting, so, we engineered a tubular bulb/frame for the top and a additive socket for the bottom to light up the bottom shade as well (see pics). The original Shadows are now gone.
This frame is, and was, made from a combo of aluminum and other white metals. A perfect streamline light for a series down a hallway or in an entry way.
Measurements: 38 1/2" tall, with a width of 16".
A full UL mounting kit will be supplied.
