37-ES-OB  Oil Rubbed Bronze Finish Victorian or Edwardian Style Early Electric Wall Sconce

This is a nice quality close to the wall brass sconce.  Backplate is cast by the Lost Wax jewelry casting process for excellence in detail.  The early Hubble fitter gives an early electric feeling that matches the backplate, which is from the mid 1800's gas fixtures.

Made from solid brass, in your choice of unlacquered polished brass; antique brass finish; oil rubbed bronze finish; nickel plated brass; or for a soft silver tone, choose "pewter".

Backplate:  4 ¼" in diameter.

Height:  9 ½" (measured from the top of the backplate to the bottom of the pictured shade)

Projection:  5" from the wall into the room.

Wattage:  Wired to UL standards, with one socket capable of up to 100 watts incandescent.

We offer custom installation of an On/Off switch on the backplate for $25.00 extra.  Please click the "Yes" option in the "Add Switch?" menu if you wish to add the switch to your order.

Shades are sold separately.  Shown with our cut glass shade.  Since the fitter is 2¼", many shade types can be used to accent the light just the way you wish it to appear.  We sell this fixture without a shade, but offer a wide variety of re-created glass shades to choose from.  For collectors of antique shades, this is an excellent display fixture when you have only one special shade.  This light can also be oriented "shade up" to simulate the early gas "wall brackets".
