420NY-BR Special New York (and others) Fancy 1920s era Brass Face, Red 8" Words, Exit Sign
**UL 924 Approved & Labeled**
Large Sized; special upgraded; 1920s era Exit Sign with heavily embossed Cast Brass Face. The words are 8” tall instead of the normal 6” tall. It also has the following “special” construction for New York and other locations that have followed the New York trend.
1). The fascia is mounted to a “white” powder coated 20 gauge steel case.
The white steel case measures: 14 12” wide by 10 1/2” tall.
The back of the white steel case has a universal crossbar pattern to mount directly to an electrical box. It is built in.
2). The case has a ready-light and a test button
3). The case has the possibility of supporting “up to”. Three LED top lights which can be either 1.2 watt LED output or the larger 3 watt LED output.
4). It contains a printed circuit board with RED LED lights. Green is not acceptable in NY.
The Art Deco Cast Solid Brass face, has been re-designed from an orignal New York theater to meet updated code requirements with a strikingly decorative effect. This face fastens directly onto the white steel case and is simple to remove for any and all maintenance access in the future.
Why spend money on a fantastic new construction, or restoration, but still have your customers stare at a low quality plastic exit sign lump ?? We believe that a bit of decorative and functional uniqueness is always appreciated.
The exterior & interior of this UL approved Exit Sign do make a true "quality" statement. And this neat sign meets code since it is LED powered and has a battery back-up that lasts for 90 minutes after power loss.
Electrical Feature:
This sign is UL approved with LED lights and a 3.6 NI-CAD battery that gives 90 min run time after a power loss. Pre-wired for your choice of a 120VAC or a 277VAC electrical supply. (0.024A)

This sign can be modified to be a double sided sign; or a ceiling hung sign...or a wall hung sign...or have emergency lights attached to the top.
Our emergency top lights are also LED. You can choose between a 1.2watt version that resembles a 1920s car headlight or a larger, more powerful, 3 watt version. 1.2 watt LED top lights are supplied either in white metal or solid brass. The 3 watt LED top lights can be supplied in Aluminum or Solid Brass or an ABS light (for economy).
The stems of these top lights have full articulations to give every possible angle of direction.
