American Art Deco Pair of Sconces by Puritan (ANT-1139)

ANT-1139  American Art Deco Pair of Sconces by Puritan

These sconces, Circa 1930’s, were made by a little known company called Puritan, which had an interesting array of shade variations for this type of frame.

A popular shade, with 1930s customers, were these nice amber shades that had an Art Deco Floral design. These frames are made from cast iron and have a pewter contrasting finish. These frames do show some casting roughness per the antique hand-crafted castings and they are shown, by themselves, in one picture. Most normal for antiques.

These sconces have been completely re-wired, in our UL shop, with new sockets to conform to UL guidelines. Each socket is capable of accepting a 100 watt bulb. Each sconce has a rotary on/off switch replaced to match the ones used in the 30's. The sconces are totally ready to be installed and will be supplied with all the necessary mounting hardware.

Each sconce measures 10” tall by 5 3/4” wide and project into a room 5”.

Price: Complete, UL re-wired pair of Puritan Art Deco Slip Shade sconces are $750.00 , plus careful shipping.
