1930s Pair Art Deco Wall Sconces Glass Slip Shade Lights by Puritan (ANT-881)

ANT-881  American Art Deco Pair of Antique Sconces by Puritan

These sconces, circa 1930s, were made by a little-known company called Puritan, which had an interesting array of shade variations for this type of frame.  A popular shade, with 1930s customers, was this nice amber Art Deco Floral design.

The frames are made from cast iron, and have a red bronze finish.

Measurements:

  • Height:  9"
  • Width:  5 ½"
  • Projection:  5 ¼" from the wall into the room.

Both sconces have been completely re-wired in our UL shop, with new sockets to conform to UL guidelines.  Each socket is capable of accepting a 100 watt bulb. Rotary on/off switches have been replaced to match the ones used in the 30s. The sconces are totally ready to be installed, and will be supplied with all the necessary mounting hardware.

Price:  $750.00 for the complete, UL re-wired pair of Puritan Art Deco Slip Shade sconces, plus careful shipping.
